Submission of Case Brief to Foreign Affair Ministry

A meeting was held between Foreign Affair Minister YB Dato’ Seri Anifah Hj Aman, YB Tian Chua, Mr M Ravi, Ms CY Ngeow (CRC-KLSCAH) and Mr Teh Moon Hui (SUARAM) on 5 July 2010. Malaysia government agreed to write to the Singapore government to plead for clemency for Yong Vui Kong, who was sentenced to death last year for drug trafficking.

Follow-up on 5 July 2010 meeting, Malaysian Human Right Activists together with Yong Vui Kong’s lawyer had submitted the case brief to Foreign Affair Ministry today.
